In case you like to mess with Photoshop like I do, you may find this "Crysis 2 Photoshop Signature Tutorial" useful (unless you are a pro like Ass_Man).

Wow, I had no idea so much went into a signature. That is why I open photoshop, throw up a bit, close it and ask someone to make me a sig LMAO.

I admire those of you that are "in the know" with this sort of thing.

I work with PhotoShop every day but I think I'm switching classes to learn JavaScript next year instead. :)

I think PhotoShop is one of those things where you can really self-teach with relative ease, because of the amount of tutorials and articles their are out there, you can find a solution to practically every photoshop problem you come across.

Consider C# or C++ instead of Java. C# and C++ is widely used these days and has more future, if that is something you may become interested to do for leaving. Besides most of the modern game engines including CryEngine are written in C++, plus VisualStudio express is available for free to learn all.

Well, I think he is learning JS more so for web purposes than actual application/game development.

Ok, JavaScript and the Java the OOP, they are almost two different things. Learning JS or OOP Java whichever your school only offers may be beneficial for you, one for the web and one to get introduced to OOP. Try it it may be it is something you like, knowledge is power.

My bad, I originally thought Java and JavaScript were the same thing... Java is what my school offers, which has a lot of similar code to C/C++. :)

After you have been using PS for the past year or two, they should offer more web-related stuff. It will be easier to find a job as a web guy than a software guy, both with design and and programming.
